SUMMARY:Suicide Prevention Summit 5K
DESCRIPTION:Pierce County is hosting its first Suicide Prevention Summit and Bridge to Hope 5K. The event takes place on September 18th (3 segments between 12 – 7 p.m.) and is FREE.   \n\n\n\nThe Summit consists of three Segments – People can register for one or all of the segments: \n\n\n\n\nThe first section (12 – 4:30 p.m.) is geared for PROFESSIONALS (first responders\, counselors\, healthcare providers\, non-profits\, etc.) and CEUs are provided free.\n\n\n\nThe second section (4:00 – 6:00 p.m.) is for the GENERAL COMMUNITY. This is wonderful training/support for everyone from veterans to parents and neighbors.\n\n\n\nFinally\, we wrap things up with a 5K WALK/RUN (starting at 6:15) across the Tacoma Narrows bridge. The 5K is timed and participants get a really cool embroidered badge!
